"Applejack is one of my favorite ponies"

Practically nopony has Applejack at the top of the list.

Edit: since this has caught attention and people may accuse me of not liking Applejack, here is my general opinion:
"Applejack has the greatest character of the mane six. She's hard working, considerate, polite, wise, and yet flawed. Despite all her spectacular traits, she's immensely boring. Applejack kicks apple trees all day, every day, and is content to do so until the day she dies. When given her own episode, she switches things up by kicking cherry trees instead. Because of this, she is the least entertaining pony, and a great part of the fandom doesn't care for her. The show is for entertainment, and if a great character can't entertain, then she may not be such a great character." -elnachato (Don't Forget Your Applesauce)

Elnachato may have a point about Applejack being flawed, but the way I see it, she's the LEAST flawed out of the Mane 6. While I do love all of the mane cast, each one of them does have at least one personal problem. This is what I mean:
(Before you read on, I want you to know that I harbor absolutely NO ill will towards any of the main characters. I'm speaking entirely from an analytical standpoint.)
Rainbow Dash can be extremely arrogant at times.
Fluttershy has serious insecurity issues.
Pinkie Pie's sanity is often questionable.
Rarity can be rather pompous almost to the point of intolerance.
Twilight Sparkle has the absolute WORST case of OCD I have ever seen (Lesson Zero, if you need proof).
What's Applejack's main flaw? She's stubborn about keeping up with her work schedule. It's as simple as that. That's one of the reasons why I think she's best pony.

By the way, I really like the way this image turned out! I had a feeling I wasn't the only one who thought of something MLP-related when I first saw this movie in theaters.
Incidentally, I would have picked Applejack before anyone else.

On my opinion, Applejack will always be best (and my favorite) pony.
A hoof full of reasons why she is, is clearly explained here.
Sethisto even said so himself in an Equstria Daily blog.

Cheers to her, the entire Apple family, and the 2 shooting stars.
